Academicians

 Professor Zhou Yaohe, born in May,1927,native of Shenxian County, Hebei
 Province.Frome 1953 to 1957,Prof.Zhou studied as  a  graduate  at  the
 former Soviet Union and obtained degree of associate doctor of science
 and technology.  Since  1957, he  has  been  working  at  the  casting
 specialty of Northwestern Polytechnical University.In 1981 and 1991 he
 was appointed advisor for doctors and academician of  chinese  Academy
 of sciences respectively.   Prof.   Zhou  is  a  well- known  physical
 me tallurgist in the world and has  made  outstanding  achievements  in
 casting engineering, modern solidification theory  and  new  materrial
 preparation. Prof. Zhou is the president of Casting Society  of  China
 Machinery Engineering Society and the  chaiman  of  the  International
 society of casting. Prof. Zhou has won one national award  of  science
 and technology progress, one national award of invention,one award  of
 excellent teaching achievements and five ministrical awards and  is  a
 national model worker and an excellent member of CPC. Prof. Zhou  also
 won the golden prize of aeronautics which is the highest prize of  the
 aviation industry.
 

 Professor Fu Henzhi, born in Augest,1929 in Kaifeng City, Henan Province.
 Prof. Fu graduated in 1955 in Harbin Engineering University  after  his
 graduate studies at the university and obtained  degree  of  associate
 doctor in the former Soviet Union.Since 1962, Prof.Fu has been working
 at Northwestern Polytechnical University and   was  appointed  advisor
 for doctors in Casting specialty in 1983 and  academician  of  chinese
 Academy of Engineering in 1995 respectively. Prof. Fu is a well- known
 metallurgist in our country in the research fields of high  temprature
 alloy, solidification theory and technology,and new function materials
. From  1984  to  1992, he  has  been  the  president  of  Northwestern
 Polytechnical University and at the present is the president of Shanxi
 Provincial Casting Society, the honorary chaiman of Xi'an  Association
 of science and technology. Prof. Fu has won four  national  awards  of
 invention, science and  technology  progress, and  excellent  teaching
 achievements, and six ministrical awards. Prof. Fu is a  model  worker
 of the Aviation Indeustries of China and has published over 150 papers
 and one monograph.
 

 Professor Zhang Litong, born in March,1929 in Haicheng City,   Liaoning
 Province.Prof. Zhang graduated in 1961 at  Northwestern  Polytechnical
 University after her graduate studies at the  university  since  then.
 Prof.Zhang has been appointed advisor for doctors of Casting  in  1990
 and academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1995 respectively.
 Prof. Zhang has made outstanding achievements in the  research  fields
 of special high temprature ceramics,  aeronautical  and  astronantical
 structural ceramics and their composites. Prof.  Zhang  has  won  four
 national awards of science and technology progress in the first,second
 and third places and wins provincial and  ministrical  awards  in  the
 first and second places. Prof. Zhang has been elected  successively  a
 "National March Eighth Red-Baner Pacesettler", an "Advanced worker  of
 Aviation Industries of China", and an expert of "National Middle- aged
 and young Experts with  Outstanding  Achievements". Prof.   Zhong  has
 published over fifty papers.
